For Bonneville Power Administration and 130 northwest investor-owned, municipal, and cooperative utilities, LEI is supporting development and delivery of E3T, an initiative to streamline assessment and market uptake of energy efficient emerging technologies throughout the Pacific Northwest.
For a leading Silicon Valley company, LEI provided guidance in understanding the demand-side management ecosystem and in strategic assessment of a new market entry opportunity.
For Southern California Edison, LEI provided multi-party coordination and development of the 2009-11 statewide utilities Emerging Technologies Program Implementation Plan, aligning the three-year program with the California Long-Term Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan.
For the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance and Washington State University Energy Office, LEI supported development and delivery of an educational program on emerging DSM technology program planning and implementation. Participants included representatives of leading Northwestern and California utilities, universities and laboratories.

Ways in which consumers can modify electricity usage, including conservation or load curtailment, energy efficiency and load shifting. By managing load during peak demand hours, DR activities avoid the need to find new sources of generation capacity.
