Jonathan Livingston joined E Source Executive Vice President Jay Stein and a team of technology assessment experts as a panelist on the topic of “Navigating the Tides of Emerging Technology.” Livingston presented his overview of how leading energy utility programs strategically design their emerging technology portfolios from a gap and priority standpoint.
Departing from the now-familiar theme of efficient technology selection and assessment, Livingston focused his remarks on opportunities for efficiency program executives to evaluate their company innovation profiles and staff capabilities against current and future program portfolio objectives and priorities.
Stein took a cue from the investment community, Stein addressing the important and sometimes overlooked impact of the qualifications of technology company management teams on their viability and ultimate survival in the rough waters of commercial business launch and scaling.
The program was rounded out with brief presentations by E Source technology research staff bringing their latest dispatches from the front lines of energy efficiency innovation.
Overall, the session received top ratings from audience members at the three-day conference.
